We are excited to be working with you. Once Shani returns to the office from Leadership we will want to get started on your new website ASAP. The very first thing is to have a one-on-one call with Shani, plan on 15-30 minutes of your time for us to run down our list of questions and answer any you may have for us. If we miss you and get your voice mail, we will leave a message - to avoid delay, please get back to us as soon as you can 281-653-8599.
If you completed a "RUSH" form @ Leadership, we are likely already working on your site design/content and a call will not be needed. You will receive a welcome email with details from Shani shortly.
We keep setup super simple for you and usually require very little (if any) additional information from you after the call.
The following will speed up the process but is NOT at all required. Shani will cover this when she has you on the phone, so no worries if you don't understand or would prefer to have assistance with any of the following:
Choose a domain name (www_______.com), usually your name, Unit/Area name, or combination of the two is great. PLEASE don't purchase it though - just write it down or email it to us (it's included in your plan so we take care of that). If you have no luck finding one you like, Shani can help with some ideas during your call. Here's a link to GoDaddy where you may search for available domains. If you own a domain, we would need the login to change settings. If another company purchased your domain, you will want to have them unlock it ASAP and email Shani with your domain and who has it right away - as this sometimes takes a while to get our hands on.
Visit the Samples page for some ideas on design - just see if anything catches your eye. Write it down. If nothing seems to fit your vision, not a problem, Shani can help with some ideas during your call.
If you have a current site, make a list of things you know you want brought over (i.e. photo gallery images from 2012, About Me info, etc...), if it's nothing that's fine, if it's everything, just please be sure it's current. You don't have to be specific about every little thing...and if it's a lot, Shani will get the info from you during your call.
View our standard Training Center Content (password is 2013), make a list of pages you do not want added (if any). Pretty mush a quick glance at the page list will give you a good idea. We can add/remove any pages or content. This is just the basic we would set up for a client who has nothing or wants a fresh start.
